Welcome to third grade! My name is Jen Hoyt. This is my 10th year teaching at North School, and my 9th year in third grade. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Saint Anselm College, a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Merrimack College, and another master's in literacy from American College of education..I am looking forward to being your child's teacher this year!

Please make all dismissal changes in Pick up Patrol.
Snack:
Students will have snack each day at 2:10. Please remember to pack your child a quick snack as well as a water bottle.
Juice
To keep our classroom clean, please only send your child to school with clear liquids. Students can enjoy fruit juices at lunch or at home.
Birthdays:
We will celebrate birthdays in our classroom with a song and a pencil. Please do not send students in with treats due to allergies.

This program combines speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary and writing together to help students target all skills!

Our phonics program in third grade is fundations. We will build on skills that students have been previously exposed to as well as work with multisyllabic words.
