This year we will continue imagining solutions to problems in a fun way! Last year we built cars, houses, puppets, and cities. We had Probability Carnivals and Sphero Car Races, and many more fun projects...
This year you will be given challenges to solve. We have expanded our focus to more than just mathematics. We will be cutting, pasting, taping, measuring, drawing, and using computers.
So... Put on those STEAM glasses and enjoy the beauty of creative thinking and the world around you!

Do you know what you want to be when you get older? Would you be a nurse, a scientist, an athlete, a scuba diver, or something else?
I have always wanted to be a teacher.
As a young child, I didn't speak normally until 1st grade. I always enjoyed the world around me. I knew a lot, but I had this problem. I couldn't explain what I knew!.
My love for teaching came from that experience. I wanted everyone to be able to learn and have fun no matter how they learned. Everyone is SMART in some way!
So now I am in my 46th year of teaching in Londonderry. South School was my home for many years, where I was a classroom teacher for learners in grades 4 - 6. Currently, I teach part-time at Matthew Thornton Tuesday - Thursday.
I look forward to sharing my love of math, science, technology, and design to solve problems.
