The Wellness Center is a safe space where students can go if they are having a difficult time coping with their emotions. We have included tools and resources the students may use during their time in the Wellness center to help them regulate in a positive way. The goal is for students to use their words and independently ask for the resources and tools available to them before their emotions escalate. Students can come to the wellness center if the need a safe space, help from one of the counselors, or take a break so that they are successful on our campus. (El Centro de Bienestar es un lugar seguro donde los estudiantes pueden acudir si tienen dificultades para afrontar sus emociones. Hemos incluido herramientas y recursos que los estudiantes pueden usar durante su tiempo en el centro de bienestar para ayudarlos a regularse de manera positiva. El objetivo es que los estudiantes usen sus palabras y soliciten de forma independiente los recursos y herramientas disponibles antes de que sus emociones aumenten. Los estudiantes pueden venir al centro de bienestar si necesitan un espacio seguro, ayuda de uno de las consejeras o tomar un descanso para tener éxito en la escuela.)
