About your instructor

This is my 20th year working for Lompoc Unified. That includes 16 years teaching Computer Science at Cabrillo High, 2 years as a substitute and coach for boys volleyball and 2 years at Adult Ed. Before teaching I was a computer engineer for U.S. Computer Systems, Cable Data, Computer Sciences Corporation and Burroughs Corporation.

Teaching is my way of transferring real world knowledge and skills to the next generation of computer scientists and users.

Many people my age are not computer literate and feel intiminated by them. My goal is to introduce the use of computers in a nurturing and non-judgemental enviroment where all students succeed.
