SENIOR CELEBRATION (current 12th & early grads w/ visitor pass only)

Students join us for lunch on May 8, 2026, and pick up their caps, gowns, and other graduation items on the Senior Lawn during lunch. After this date, caps and gowns can be picked up in the Activities Office.

LUNCH ON THE LAWN (current 12th & Parent/Guardian)

This event will take place on May 15, 2026, on the Senior Lawn during lunch. Parents/guardians can bring a picnic lunch to share with their students. Parents do not need to check in at the office, but must stay on the Senior Lawn only. We recommend bringing something to sit on.

SENIOR SUNSET (12th and early grads only)

This event will take place on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM in the Cabrillo gymnasium. All seniors who participate must enter the Cabrillo gymnasium between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM. This event will include a snack, a food truck meal with a drink (additional food will be available for purchase), a movie, and an opportunity to win a prize during the night. We will also watch the senior slideshow.

GRADUATION CEREMONY: DRESS CODE

The following are the current graduation dress code expectations (subject to change): 

SHIRTS/TOPS: Dress shirt with collar, blouse or dress. 

PANTS/BOTTOMS: Dress slacks, skirt or dress. 

SHOES: Dress shoes, clean athletic or closed-toe shoes, dress sandals. 

NOT permitted includes: Denim jeans, shorts, t-shirts, clothes with rips/holes, and flip-flops. High heel dress shoes are discouraged due to walking on the grass field. 

Caps & Gowns: Caps and gowns may be purchased through Jostens. Cap and gown can be borrowed at no charge, but must be returned immediately following the ceremony. Gowns shall be worn without alteration and MUST remain zipped throughout the ceremony. Hats may be decorated within the confines of the school dress code; however, decorations may not be 3-D. Any inappropriate decorations will be removed before the graduation ceremony. 

Other Items: Students will not be allowed to carry any flowers, balloons, packages, bags, cameras or purses at the graduation ceremony. Parents and friends must wait until after the graduation ceremony to present the graduates with gifts, favors, or other mementos. 

TRANSCRIPTS

Requests for official transcripts are made through the registrar in the Counseling Office. You must have the college’s complete address for your request. Unofficial printed transcripts are always free. The first two official sealed transcripts with a stamp and envelope are free, and any requested after that are $.50 each. You must request a final transcript be sent to your college of choice by June 24, 2026. After this date, you may request them through the main district office for $5.00, so order them at Cabrillo before this date.
