About me

This year, I am beginning my 33rd year of teaching. I have been teaching Title I Reading for the past several years. Previously, I taught Reading Recovery for 24 years at Logan-Magnolia. I also taught Special Education in the Resource room for 21 years at LoMa. Before that, I taught Special Education at East Union Community Schools for four years.

I live in Mapleton with my husband, David. My son, Aaron, is an Electrician Apprentice at Schaefer Electric, Inc. in Omaha. I have one cat at home, Sweetie.
