Dear Third Grade Families,

Welcome to third grade! I am excited to have your child in my classroom. I’m looking forward to working with you and your child this year. My positive classroom will be filled with lots of learning, excitement, fun, and success. I want to help each of my students reach his or her fullest potential and to instill in them a love for learning.

I am a graduate from Dana College with a degree in Elementary Education/Special Education and a graduate from Morningside College with a Master’s Degree in Teaching. I am currently beginning my 34th year of teaching with 33 of those years being at Logan-Magnolia. I am proud to be part of the Logan-Magnolia School District.

My husband, Ken (Bud), owns the Dunham Hardwoods, Inc. in Dunlap. We are the proud parents of three children. Ashli is a graduate of Buena Vista University and a graduate of Creighton University with her PharmD. She is currently employed at Methodist Hospital as a licensed pharmacist. Kenneth is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. He is currently working at Spirit Aerosystems in Kansas. Taylor is a Sophomore in college attending Iowa State University.
