The following Bulletin outlines important information including schedules, fees, new course offerings, and important registration and payment links for the re-enrollment processes for the 2025-2026 school year.
1. February 1st- Priority enrollment will begin for returning students. As typical, students will be able to take advantage of a lower enrollment rate if they enroll during the month of February. You will also need to choose classes in February.
By choosing to take advantage of the early enrollment discount, you are agreeing to select courses before March 1st. If you have not selected courses by that time, courses will be automatically assigned based on the student’s grade and relevant academic plans. All add/drop fees will apply should you determine course changes are needed after that time.
* Changes are subject to an Add/Drop fee returning to the rate of $60.
2. During priority registration, families will be allowed to defer the enrollment fee to April 15th which is not a tuition payment month. Should they wish to do so, they will need to request the deferment and sign an agreement stating that they understand that regardless of any changes that may occur in their intent to enroll between March 1st and April 15th, they will still owe the enrollment fee on April 15th. If you would like to request to have your enrollment fee deferred until April, please fill out this form. Please note that we need to receive the form at least three days prior to you completing your enrollment form. So, if you intend to enroll on February 1st, you will want to complete this form today.
3. On April 15th, we will automatically withdraw any students who have not re-enrolled. They will then have to pay $100 to be re-enrolled in addition to the $400 enrollment fee.
4. We will not save space in classes for students who have enrolled but have not chosen courses.
Enrollment Fee:
$300 per student if enrolled before March 1st
$400 per student if enrolled April 14th - Class choices may be limited for those registering in this group.
$500 per student to enroll April 15th or later and no guarantee of placement
Technology Fee:
$200 annually per student
FACTS Fee:
$25 or $55/year per family based on payment plan
Schedule Change Fee: $60
On Friday, January 31st, LP families will receive an email from Registrar Addie Delahoussaye. This will give directions on how to access the re-enrollment area on the FACTS Family Portal (Re-enrollment will not show up until 9:00 a.m. on February 1st). Please note that this process should be done on a computer and NOT on the mobile app.
On February 1st at 9:00 a.m. re-enrollment will open. Instructions will walk families through the process of updating pertinent information, parent signatures on vital documents, and setting up or updating a payment plan in the FACTS system.
We will continue to use the FACTS system to input course selection. After submitting your re-enrollment packet and saving a copy for your records, please return to your FACTS Family Portal. On the left side of the page, choose the category marked "student." From there, you will choose "Course Request." Instructions will walk families through each step of the process so that you can select the courses in which your student would like to enroll in the fall. You can view all course listings and tuition pricing in the links below. Please reference the Course Descriptions for prerequisites and details. You will receive a report of which courses you have selected by April 15th. If you have not received it by that time, please let us know.
Complete the enrollment packet.
Choose a payment plan.
Pay the enrollment fee or apply to defer.
Choose classes.
All four steps must be complete to fullfill enrollment by priority dates.
Athletics
This year, we are separating the athletics registration process from the academic registration process. We hope that this gives you more time and opportunity to learn about our various sports teams and make the best plan for your family. The athletics registration period will be April 1st - May 31st. More information about fees and sports offerings for next year will be released in the coming weeks. All families interested in participating in sports next year should make plans to have a parent attend the Athletics Open House scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, February 24th in Room 200. Athletics will be available for students in grades 6-12.
Spirit Squad
Drumline, Drill Team and Cheer are all part of our spirit squad. Registration for those three teams will take place during the academic registration period. Please make sure to register for them early. Both cheer and drill team will have tryouts in March. Please watch the newsletter for more information about these tryouts.
New Courses
Junior High
JH Drawing & Mixed Media
Course Code, Year Long: 0701JHDRAW
At Logos Prep, the goal of fine arts is to promote among our students a more Godly approach to both the practice and enjoyment of the arts and to prepare them for more effective ministry to others. Drawing & Mixed Media will introduce students to foundational drawing techniques using graphite, colored pencils and other dry media. Students will also be able to explore combining different mediums in a creative and expressive manner, focusing on creating layers, textures, composition, color theory and mark making across various surfaces.
Parent Role: Project Assistant. The primary responsibility of the parents is to track the progress of their students and to monitor how well they are doing. They need to have a sincere interest in their children’s class activities and express that interest to them. Furthermore, help at home might be needed occasionally in support of a particular project. If problems should develop, then the teacher needs to know immediately.
Course Prerequisites: Students must be junior high classification for enrollment in this course. This class is taken as a full year.
JH Keyboarding and Computer Applications
Course Code, 1st and 2nd semester: 07010702COMP
First semester will focus on keyboarding. By use of an online, interactive tool and teacher direction, students will learn the proper form for keyboarding. Learning correct typing technique will help with speed and accuracy as students grow older and become more dependent on electronic forms of communication and reporting.
Second semester introduces students to the basic and intermediate functions of cloud based Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Students will learn how to type a document, customizing the font, spacing, and borders, type a friendly letter, insert clip art and pictures, set tabs and create a table in Google Docs. In Google Sheets, they will learn how to create a simple spreadsheet and create formulas. Creating slides with timed settings, outlines and importing images will be taught in Google Slides. After learning these skills, students will partner with a classmate and create a mock business integrating all applications previously taught. All work will be done in class including presentations at the end of the semester.
Parent Role: Course Monitor. Some courses will necessitate that teaching be done in the classroom and leaves little for the parents to teach at home. This role, therefore, will require the least amount of time by the parent but its importance cannot be understated. The primary responsibility of the parents is to track the progress of their son or daughter and to monitor how well they are doing. In short, parents need to show an interest and express this to their children.
Course Prerequisites: Student must be of junior high classification for enrollment in this course. This class may be taken as a full year (must choose 0701COMP and 0702COMP) or for a single semester, fall (0701COMP - keyboarding specific) or spring (0702COMP - Google specific).
