Outside Opportunities

The theme of this year’s competition is: Congressional District 09 Landmarks.

All artwork submissions must be dropped off at Rep. Harder’s District Office at 1776 W. March Ln, Suite 360 in Stockton between April 15-19, between 9:00am-5:00pm.

The following is a summary of the Congressional Art Competition rules:

Artwork entered in the contest may be up to 26 inches by 26 inches, up to 4 inches in-depth, and not weigh more than 15 pounds. All artwork submissions must be one or two dimensional. If your artwork is selected as the winning piece, it must be framed by the creator and still measure no larger than the above maximum dimensions. 

Accepted mediums for artwork are as follows:

1. Paintings: oil, acrylics, watercolor, etc.

2. Drawings: pastels, colored pencil, pencil, charcoal, ink, and markers (It is recommended that charcoal and pastel drawings be fixed).

3. Prints: lithographs, silkscreen, block prints

4. Mixed Media: collage or use of more than two mediums such as pencil, ink, watercolor, etc.

5. Computer-generated art

6. Photographs
