Marilyn Ziegler
Marilyn Ziegler served as a previous Lodi Wrestling Club board member from 1995 to 2005 and was the genius who brought the idea of the "Horse Apple Raffle" to the Susie the Duck Day parade to help Lodi Wrestling. Marilyn is the mother of former Lodi Wrestlers, Clint and Nick Ziegler, both of whom started on state championship teams. Clint was on the 1998 team state championship team and Nick was on the 2004 team state chamionship team.Jesse Ziegler
Jesse was a 2012 graduate from Lodi High School where he wrestled all four seasons. During his career Jesse was a two time conference champion, a three time regional champion, a one time sectional champion, and a two time state qualifier. During Jesse's senior season, he was voted a team captain. During Jesse's career Lodi qualified for Team State three times and was in the finals in 2009. Jesse ended his career with 95 wins. In 2018 Jesse joined the Lodi Wrestling Club board and has helped with all of the various events we do each year ever since.Mike Busser
Mike Busser wrestled at nearby Reedsburg High School from 1981-1984 where he was a Conference, Regional, and Sectional champion. Additionally, Mike qualified for the state tournament as an individual and was a part of two team state championship teams. Mike coached in Lodi alongside Coach Reinwand for many years and was a huge part of Lodi's success. Mike is also the father of 2016 Lodi Wrestling alum and state place winner, Jake Busser.Steve Dibble
Steve Dibble wrestled for Lodi from 1985-1988 where he was a two time Conference, Regional, and Sectional champion. Steve qualified for the individual state tournament as a junior and took 4th, and as a senior where he won the 1988 state title at 138 pounds. Steve went on to wrestle at UW-Stevens Point. Steve returned to help coach Lodi from 2007 to 2013 as well.Austin Caves
Austin Caves has an incredible wrestling story considering he never wrestled! Austin was a basketball player in High School. However, once his boys (Bryer and Jace) decided that they wanted to wrestle Austin dove into the sport head first and has been an amazing resource ever since. Austin is currently a Middle School Wrestling Coach and has helped with Youth Wrestling since 2018. Austin is a USA Wrestling Cooper and Bronze Certified Coach. Austin also has 23 years of business leadership and experience.
