My name is Patricia Lewandowski and this is my eighth year as the librarian at Navarro and my thirteenth year in education. Before becoming a librarian, I taught first and second grade.
I grew up near Houston, Texas and attended Texas State University where I received my Bachelor's degree in Education. In 2017, I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Master's Degree in Library Science.
I love getting to know each and every student and helping them find the books they love! I truly believe I have the best job on our campus!
I enjoy spending time with my family and reading lots and lots of books! My husband Justin and I have one son named Connor and he is 7. We enjoy chasing him around, travelling to new places, and playing board games together. We have 3 cats: Milo, Sirius Black, and Ru Paw.
Some of my favorite books/authors are Harry Potter series, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, Mo Willems, Ban This Book by Alan Gratz, Beekle by Dan Santat and anything by Jason Reynolds. I believe the magical thing about reading is that it allows us to travel the world and different places without ever leaving our homes.
