What is FAFSA or TASFA?

FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is a form you fill out to get financial aid from the federal government to help pay for college.

Submitting the FAFSA is completely FREE!!

TASFA (Texas Application for State Financial Aid) determines eligibility for any state financial aid. This program is also free and is for students who do not qualify for or can not apply for FAFSA.

Since January 2021, the state of Texas has made it mandatory for all graduating high school seniors to apply for the FAFSA, TASFA, or students/parents must opt out in order to graduate.
