What are Advanced Courses?
Lockhart High School offers a variety of advanced courses for students who want to pursue college-level courses while enrolled in high school. Students may choose from Dual Credit courses with Austin Community College, AP courses, and OnRamps courses with the University of Texas at Austin
What is a Transcript?
A transcript is a one-page list of every class, grade, and credit that you've earned in high school. It includes your contact information, ethnicity, GPA, rank, industry certifications, and endorsements.
How do I Request a Transcript?
We have conveniently linked the transcript request link to our home page. This link will enable you to request an official transcript!
Need an Unofficial Transcript?
This could just be you wanting to see a copy of your own transcript information. You want to see your rank, you want to see your GPA, or you want to make certain a made up credit has been added, etc.

What are Advanced Placement Courses (AP)?
Enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies—with the opportunity to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both—while still in high school.
Taking AP courses demonstrates to college admission officers that students have sought the most challenging curriculum available to them.
Students who score a 3 or higher on an AP Exam typically experience greater academic success in college and are more likely to earn a college degree than non-AP students.

What are On-Ramps Courses?
Dual-enrollment program provides rigorous courses that are aligned with the standards and expectations of The University of Texas at Austin.
These courses fit into a normal schedule and allow students to earn college credit while simultaneously earning high school graduation requirements.
Dual enrollment credit is accepted by Texas public universities. Students who plan to attend a private or out-of-state college or university should check with schools regarding their policy of accepting dual or concurrent enrollment courses.

What is a Fee Waiver? How Do I Request?
What is a fee waiver? Applying to college includes lots of fees. For ex- $30 per college application. The average student applies to 5-8 colleges. If you qualify, you can get fee waivers so you don't have to pay them.
How do I get a fee waiver for my college application? Come by Gear Up or your CCMR Advisor for a college application fee waiver.
