At our school, reading is worth celebrating! We host four AR parties each year to reward students for reaching their goals. To qualify, students must:
Meet their word count goal
Maintain an 80% quiz average on AR tests
The students who find the most success are those who make reading a daily habit at home and take AR quizzes at school to show their understanding. We can’t wait to celebrate our readers’ hard work and growth throughout the year!

Meet the Librarian
My name is Aubrey Simons, and this is my fifth year as the librarian at Bluebonnet. I have been teaching for 13 years and previously taught grades 3–6. One of my favorite parts of being a librarian is helping students discover books they love and grow into lifelong readers. I believe the library is for everyone, and I’m excited to continue building our library community this year.
