My name is Kristin Scott, and this will be my first year at Borchert Loop as your librarian. I have been an elementary teacher within Lockhart ISD for 13 years and an elementary librarian for 8 years.

I have two kiddos, Blakely and Korbin. I will mention them often while you are with me in the library.
Blakely has been a multi-million-word reader and is planning on becoming a millionaire again for the fifth time!
Korbin will be a student here at Borchert Loop with you!
My family loves to go on trips together, play board games and READ.
My husband and I have been together for 14 years.
I love hanging out with him.
He is a master electrician and is really good at what he does. He also loves sitting in on our family story times, and listening to his daughter or me read.
We have the best time jamming out in the car with our kiddos while on our way to our favorite past time, SWIMMING.
We have a few pets at our home; a cat, a dog and a bunch of red rabbits.
Mrs. Hamblin is my mom.
She is also a world class library volunteer. Our students will get to see her working in the library all the time.
Make sure you say Hi to her when you visit the library!
Family trips are our favorite times together. We have visited so many places and read so many books during our travels!
