ABS Library

Library Purpose:

The purpose of the Lockhart ISD Elementary Libraries is to provide a future ready library media program which will facilitate a collaborative learning space that will enable individuals to become information literate and effective lifelong readers. Students will actively engage in inquiry and discovery-based projects across curriculums. We aim to provide teachers access to a variety of sources for implementation to enhance curriculum and deliver innovative lessons with the guidance and collaboration of the Library Media Specialist.

As the hub of the school, the Lockhart ISD Elementary Libraries will be a welcoming environment for all students, teachers, family and community members.
