RANDOM NAME GENERATOR
I know Classroom Screen has a fun random name generator but if you want another option here is a new site: Wheel of Names. Import your students' names and then bookmark it. The names will save for another day!
Just for fun, I loaded in all our CES staff members' names. Ellen Koier was the chosen staff member (no- I promise I didn't rig it!)! If you see her today, give her a compliment. Perhaps we can do this again!

How can I add audio clips to Google Slides?
Inserting audio files can allow teachers to increase access to curriculum and enhance your UDL practices!
Google Slides does not have an audio recording feature, but it does allow you to insert audio files.
Try Online Voice Recorder to save MP3 files in Google Drive.
Once the audio file is saved/downloaded. You can upload the file into Google Drive.
When on the relevant slide, click Insert > Audio and select the recording file.
Audio files can be embedded in any slide, but do not play automatically. Presenters and Viewers click the audio icons to hear them play.
Other options are to add Mote as an extension to narrate or simply use Wevideo for narration and save as a MP3 audio only file!

Tech Tuesday AI- Chatting with Historical Figures
Here is a cool tool to check out: Hello History This app uses Article Intelligence so that you can ask famous historical figures questions and they will respond to your questions as if they were real. You can try it out with your students if you get the app on your phone or your school ipad. Another option would be to try it with Google Play on a chromebook. This might be cool for a biography unit!
