B. S. Panda did his Ph.D. in the Department of Mathematics, IIT Kanpur in 1994 in Algorithmic Graph Theory. He was a visiting scientist at ISI Calcutta. He was then a lecturer and sbsequently became an Assistant Professor in computer Science Department at BITS Pilani. He then served as a Reader in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Hyderabad. He was also in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Texas at Arlington, USA as a visiting researcher. He joined the Department of Mathematics, IIT Delhi as an Assistant Professor in 2002 June, became an Associate Professor in October 2006 and currently a Professor since 13th April, 2011. He was also the Head of the Department of Mathematics, IIT Delhi from 1st Januray 2012 to 30th June 2014. He was with the Department of Mathematics, IIT Kharagpur as a professor on lien from IIT Delhi from 14th July 2015 to 15th December 2015. He was GATE-JAM vice-chairman, IIT Delhi, for GATE-JAM 2018, GATE-JAM 2019 and GATE-JAM 2020. He was part of the GATE 2020 Organizing Team as vice chairman when IIT Delhi was the organizing Institute. He was also Chairman for GATE-JAM 2021, IIT Delhi.
Research Interests: Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Multi-weather Image/Video Restoration, Video Object Segmentation, Single Image Depth Estimation, Image/Video Super-resolution, Video Object Tracking, Activity Recognition.
Sandeep Kumar is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and School of Artificial Intelligence (ScAI) at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi). He heads the Machine Intelligence Signals and Networks (MISN) lab at IIT Delhi. His current research focuses on graphical models, manifolds, semi-supervised learning, and large-scale optimization. He received his M.Tech and Ph.D. degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, and completed his postdoc from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Research: I supervise the Machine Intelligence Signals and Networks (MISN) Lab at IIT Delhi. The overarching theme of our research efforts lies in the coherent interaction between optimization, machine learning, signal processing, and graphical models. Specific problems of interest include:

Dr. Satyam Agarwal is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Ropar, India. He received his PhD degree in electrical engineering from IIT Delhi, in 2016 and his M.Tech from IIT Kanpur in 2012. Prior to joining IIT Ropar, he worked as an Assistant Professor at IIT Guwahati and as a postdoctoral researcher at Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
His research interests include 6G networks, machine learning for communications, distributed systems, and air-borne UAV networks. He is the recipient of the DST-INSPIRE faculty award. He has received various research grants including DST-SERB, ISRO, DOT, Ministry of Earth Sciences, and Punjab Skill Development Mission. He has published more than 40 research articles. He is a senior member of IEEE.
Research interests are in the broad areas of Wireless communications and networks.

Dr. Agarwal is currently the member of executive committee of IEEE VTS Delhi Chapter. He is the reviewer of numerous peer-reviewed journals, viz. IEEE TCOM, IEEE TMC, IEEE TCCN, IEEE TGCN, IEEE TNSM, IEEE WCL, IEEE SysJ. His research interests include non-terrestrial networks, intelligent reflecting surfaces assisted 6G, UAV and D2D communication, intrabody communication, with special emphasis on applied deep learning and optimization techniques for resource allocation.
Dr. Rahul Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering at LNMIIT Jaipur. He earned his Ph.D. from NIT Silchar and has previously served as a Research Associate at IIT Indore, where he conducted groundbreaking research in the application of Deep Learning techniques to medical imaging, particularly focusing on Alzheimer's disease diagnosis. Dr. Sharma's research is at the forefront of utilizing advanced Deep Learning algorithms to analyze complex MRI scan data. His innovative work in developing automated frameworks for early detection and progression prediction of Alzheimer's disease has been recognized for its significant impact on the field of medical diagnostics. Dr. Sharma is actively involved in several interdisciplinary research projects and has published numerous papers in prestigious journals and conferences such as Nature, IEEE Transactions, IEEE JBHI, and Applied Soft Computing. His work continues to push the boundaries of current methodologies and contributes to the advancement of knowledge in AI and healthcare.
Manoj Kumar (Joined Department on 22/07/2024) received the Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India, in 2024, the M.Tech. degree in Signal Processing communication and Networks from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, in 2015, and the B.Tech. Degree in electronics and communication engineering from Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad, India, in 2012. His research interests include Graph Machine Learning, Graph Dimensionality Reduction, Optimization Algorithms, and Deep Learning.
NISHANT GUPTA (Joined Department on 28/08/2024) (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, India, in 2023, the M.Tech. degree in electronics and communication from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India, in 2018, and the B.Tech. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Chandigarh Engineering College, Mohali, India, in 2015. Prior to joining LNMIIT, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Linköping University, Linköping, Sweden. His research interests include 5G networks, UAV communications, air-borne networks, optimization, deep learning in MIMO networks.
