The Mission of the LNC Media Center, an integral part of the school program, is to enhance every student’s learning experience by providing diverse resources, technology, and a collaborative environment to foster student success in academics, leadership, and social responsibility.

Welcome to the LNC Middle School Media Center!
My name is Ashleigh Trass, and I am thrilled to serve as the Lake Norman Charter Middle School media coordinator.
At Lake Norman Charter, we believe that together we learn, lead, and serve, and I strive to make the media center a reflection of those values:
Together We Learn: I truly love reading, and my favorite part of my job is helping students find books they love. I work one-on-one with students to unlock the joy of a great story and build lifelong literacy skills.
Together We Lead: By teaching digital citizenship and coteaching with our staff, I empower our Knights to lead with confidence and integrity in a digital world and build a life-long love of literacy.
Together We Serve: I am dedicated to serving our school community by curated a diverse, welcoming collection where every student feels seen and inspired.
My goal is to ensure the media center is a place of discovery and growth for every student. I look forward to seeing you between the stacks!
