meet Mrs. Banavich

I grew up in Warminster, PA. After high school, I attended Arcadia University. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I later attended Holy Family University and received my Master's degree in Education in 2011.

I began my teaching career in Lower Moreland and have worked at both Pine Road and Murray Avenue as a Special Education aide. I then taught first grade for 14 years. Teaching kids how to read was my favorite part of first grade. Though I loved it, I moved from first to fifth grade in 2019. For me, teaching Reading and Language Arts all day is amazing! I hope to instill that same love of reading in my students.

I have been married to my husband for fifteen years and have a daughter named Mia. She will be a sixth grader this year!  We have a miniature schnauzer named Cici who keeps us on our toes. I'm looking forward to meeting my new students in September. See you then!
