Welcome to Kindergarten in Room 49! I can't wait to meet you!
Hi! I am Mrs. Janina Arnwine and I teach kindergarten in Room 49 at Pine Road Elementary School. I have a 20-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old son. I grew up in Hatboro and then lived in in Telford (Souderton area) with my husband and our children for many years. However, in early 2013 we moved to Lower Moreland!

Our daughter graduated from LMHS in 2023. She loves art, cosplay (making costumes), Stranger Things, Marvel movies, crafting, thrifting and baking. She is very handy- she even built a She-Shed in our backyard! She just finished her second year at at Temple University where she is a Theater Major. She does not want to act though; she has an Art minor and she works with props, sets, and costumes. She hopes to one day do these things for TV shows and/or movies!

Our son is a super brave guy who gave us quite a scare when he was a baby and has kept us guessing ever since. He was born perfectly healthy with no complications but just before he turned three months old he became critically ill. He nearly died at that time and I spent 84 days with him in the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) at CHOP. While he was there he stumped all of the teams of doctors. They spent years trying to figure him out and this past fall researchers finally discovered the gene they think is responsible.

As for my educational background, I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from Shippensburg University and then went on to earn my Master's Degree from Arcadia University in Elementary Education/Language Arts. I have been teaching in Lower Moreland since 1998 and absolutely LOVE teaching kindergarten!

My family and me in Surf City (LBI), NJ. We go there for one week each summer! It is our HAPPY PLACE!
