Questions Asked At The Meeting

Q: Is the hotel a Disney Property?

A: We do not yet know the hotel, but it will be not be on Disney Property

Q: Does everyone go to the same park each day?

A: Yes, the only thing that might change is time that the groups arrive depending on performance schedules, which are currently TBD

Q: Are there insurance policies for the trip?

A: There are not insurance policies with our travel company but we can recommend some if you are interested.  

Q: Are there trips offered each year or is this once per four years?

A: We always take some kind of overnight trip but not always to this level.  We will do a big trip like this AT LEAST once every four years. 

Q: Is the quoted price just for the bus?

A: No, that price includes the whole trip price

Q: What are the student performances like?

A: In the past, we performed at Disney Springs and did a mini concert for the public to attend.  We are still working out what this year's performances will look like.

Q: No water parks?

A: We will not be going to waterparks.  We will be doing to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and MGM Studios

Q: How do we pay?

A: Via check made out to LMHS and handed into your director in an envelope

Q: Do chaperones have to ride the bus?

A: Yes, chaperones must be with us the entire time

Q:  How does flying change the cost of the trip?

A: Should you choose to fly your student down (with you), the cost of the trip does not change.  Once students decide they are flying or driving, they cannot change. We will solidify this within 30 days of the trip.

Q: What types of fund raisers are typically done?

A: We will have a variety of fund raisers throughout the year where the kids can individually benefit. 

Q: When will chaperone applications come out?

A: We won't know how many chaperones we need until we know how many students are coming. We will start looking for chaperones in mid October.
