Coloring Club provides a fun, laid back way for students to tap into their creative side. Students can socialize with their peers while releasing energy in a positive, productive way. Students should bring their own crayons, markers, or colored pencils, and we will provide the coloring pages.
Seasonal cookie designs will be decorated with colored royal icing. All cookies and icing samples will be provided. Royal icing hardens quickly, so you will be able to transport your cookies home by the end of the class!
Do you like to make things? Are you crafty? This is the club for you. We will make a different craft each session related to the time of year.
Do you like to write stories, but wish you had more time or help? Well, this is the club for you. Together, we will work on taking your writing to the next step through activities that focus on plotting, character development, and setting. At the end, you'll even have a chance to share your work with the club.
Create submissions for current writing contests available to middle school students from organizations such as Young Writers and Creative Communications. Entry opportunities include poems, short stories, essays, and more. Select a current contest that interests you, write, participate in writing workshops, and submit your piece to a contest. Perhaps you'll be published or maybe even win!
In the Embroidery Club you will learn basic to advanced methods, and end with a unique final product that you can take home! Participants with all levels of experience are welcome to attend.
We will learn to create different styles of friendship bracelets. You will learn a different style of bracelet each week and we will have time to practice and create!
Has anyone ever told you, "don't play with your food?" Well, in this club we will do just that! Food Art is the art of preparing and presenting food in the most creative ways. Projects will explore making art about food and using food to make art.
Calling all creative minds! Join the Perler Bead Make and Take Advisory Club and fuse your imagination into fun pixel art creations. We will use colorful beads to make tangible pixel art that you can take with you.
Magnets will be provided to turn your creations into locker decorations!

Ever look for a picture to show a friend what you looked like as a baby or share your amazing summer Disney vacation with a cousin, or reminisce on your summer camp activities and can't seem to find anything, well...look no further! In this fun scrapbooking club you will enjoy creating photo scrapbooks so your pictures will always be right at your fingertips.
Do you enjoy making things? Create something new from recycled materials! We will use things like bottle caps, cardboard boxes, plastic containers, egg cartons, old CD's, or materials gathered from outdoors that are no longer in use and give them a second life and new function!
We'll play friendly games of chess. All abilities are welcomed and encouraged to participate. Come ready to play!
Dungeons and Dragons, you've heard of it, but have you played it? In this club, you are given time to play DnD with other students both experienced and inexperienced.
This club will feature a variety of indoor 'old school' group games, including but not limited to: Scattergories, Pictionary, Taboo, Heads Up, Silent Ball, Jeopardy, BINGO, Left, Right, Center, to name a few. We will also play card games!
We'll play all sorts of word games including crosswords, word searches, cryptograms, Scrabble, Boggle, and Wordle. Students will work together in a fun setting to solve brain teasers and logic puzzles. Join us to play old favorites and learn new ones!
In this club, you will learn about retro video games and systems. "Retro games and systems" are those that were released in the late 1980's and early to mid-1990's. These include the original Nintendo, the Super Nintendo, and the Sega Genesis. You will not only learn a bit about the history of retro gaming, but you will also get a chance to play the classics! A variety of systems and games will be set up for you to learn about and try out. You do not need to know about, or even have any experience, playing video games to join this club; it is open to anyone who is curious!

Book Club
Come share your favorite books with other students! We'll discuss what we're currently reading, share our top-rated books, and recommend books for others to read. Additionally, we’ll listen to the first chapter of popular books together and discuss our thoughts. You’ll leave each meeting with a list of must reads!

Lego, yo! You know it: Legos are fun. So, if you're looking for a place to be creative and get your brick on, consider Club Lego. We've got vast Lego resources to choose from, including options to make your creations light up, move, and make sounds, just to name a few of the endless possibilities. Build something great with Club Lego!
Learn how to germinate and grow plants. This will include flowers and vegetables. We'll experiment with hydroponics and soil.
Calling all guitar lovers! This is a club for people that love anything to do with guitars. This is a place where you can gather with other guitarists and talk about your love of guitar, gear, and music. And, most importantly, you can jam. Who knows? You might write a hit song or even find a bandmate. Just don't forget to bring your guitar! (Note: This is not a place to learn how to play guitar so you will need to have some some prior experience.)
Are you a Harry Potter fan? This group is for you! Each month's meeting is themed after a Harry Potter movie. We play games, do crafts, watch movie scenes and have Harry Potter-themed food as we visit Hogwarts, The Forbidden Forest, The Room of Requirements, The Yule Ball, TriWizard Tournament, and the Battle at Hogwarts.
No Bake Baking Club
This club will help you learn how to create yummy desserts. Each session we will explore a no bake recipe and create our own version of the treat. If you are interested in baking or want to learn a new skill, this may be the "icing on the cake" for you!
At each meeting, we'll work on a secret project to brighten the day of students, staff and families in the LM community. We might paint kindness rocks for the neighborhood, make thank you treats for our bus drivers, or a variety of other fun suprises! Join us to find out!
Students will learn the basics skills and safety fundamentals of archery. Archery is a recreational activity that encourages members to get outdoors and become lifelong movers!
Join Gaga Club! This fast-paced, easy sport combines dodgeball and tag. Gaga is a very popular summer camp game, and it's easy to learn! Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, come bounce, dodge, and dive with us in this super fun club!
Futsal is a variation of indoor soccer where the ball does not bounce and the players play on a touchline court. Futsal games can be played anywhere from 4v4 to 6 depending on size of the court. Join us for this fast-paced indoor version of soccer! All skill levels welcome!
Mountain Biking Club
During Advisory, the Mountain Biking Club will ride on the Murray Avenue campus, Lower Moreland Middle School campus, and Valley Center Park. To participate in this club, you will need to bring your bike to school on Advisory day and your helmet. If weather prevents us from riding outside, we will be learning about bike safety and maintenance inside.

Do you enjoy playing volleyball in PE class, during backyard games, or on the beach? If so, then the Volleyball Club is for you! This is a great opportunity to refine your skills while engaging in fun scrimmages and game play. All skill levels are welcome. Athletic sneakers are required (no crocs, no slides, no heels). Come volley and have a ball!

In this club, we will be playing various water sports/ games. We will have games that range from sharks and minnows, all the way to water polo. Each month we will explore different games that we can play in the water. We will have days where we play volleyball in the pool, and other days where we will be doing relay races. The possibilities in the pool are endless! It will be a swimmingly good time. If you are ready to dive into some fun, this club is for you!
Use polymer clay to make tiny things (foods, creatures, etc.) and learn to animate them with apps like StopMotion or Canva. You’ll leave this workshop with a handful of precious minis, baked for durability for use as game pieces or charms, and a handful of handmade GIFs.
Do you like to code? If you would like a place to code and talk to other students who code, sign up for our Coding Playground. You'll have time to explore and work with other students. This will be time to work on your personal passion projects. We will be using Scratch to learn new ways to make games. All ability levels welcome!
Take your everyday photos to the next level (no camera or phone required)! In this club you will learn to create dynamic images using an iPad camera. We'll start with the basics of composition, then explore in-camera photography tricks to take complimentary, interesting, and fun photos of yourself and your friends.
Students will have the opportunity to explore making and recording music using a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). This can range from making simple beats, using an MIDI controller to simulate instruments, or recording an instrument or vocals. This could even be helpful for learning the basics required to make a podcast.
Learn the basics of how to use a DAW. This includes how to add tracks, record, and mix volume levels. Get to explore being creative with music. Although helpful, no musical background is required.
In PRO-Creators club, you will be given the opportunity to express yourself and think creatively while illustrating works of art on the iPad app, Procreate. Each student will be assigned their very own iPad and apple pen to use throughout the duration of the club. Some skills and techniques you will take away from PRO-Creators include creating gradients, blending colors, creating abstract works of art, using fun brushes, adding layers, photo editing and manipulation, cartoon and animation design, and more! We'll teach you all of the basics and "need to knows" with PRO-Create and then you can let your creativity fly!
Welcome to the SkyNavigators Academy, where innovation meets adventure! Our club is dedicated to students passionate about drones, coding, and real-world applications of cutting-edge technology. At SkyNavigators Academy, our mission is to empower students with the skills and knowledge to program drones for exciting and challenging missions inspired by real-life scenarios.
Members will explore drone technology, coding, and problem-solving. We will use basic block coding to program and control the drones to work on missions inspired by real-world drone applications, such as search and rescue operations, environmental monitoring, agricultural surveys, and more. Mission teams will collaborate to plan, code, and execute drone missions. If you are ready to take to the air for some exciting and challenging missions, think about joining our crew!
