Welcome to Computers

In the year-long Computer Science class, we will expand more on build on our coding skills with Code.org Computer Science Discoveries curriculum, focusing on Javascript Block Coding and Microsoft MakeCode to program Micro:bits. We will also venture into the world of 3D printing and modeling. We will end the year learning Python Language, using Amazon Future Engineers Curriculum. 

My Coding and Intro to Computer Science cycle classes are for 7/8 graders and 6th graders respectively. For 7/8 grade cycle Coding class, we will be using the CS Discoveries Curriculum, focusing on Interactive Games and Animations, while 6th grade Intro to Computer Science cycle will begin with CS Fundamentals. All curriculum is Code.org, certified for computer science instruction in California.
