The Skills Academy is back as a Before and after school club in the Lower Merion School District.
Boys and Girls in second grade thru fourth grade
4 separate sessions each week for young athletes
Afternoon sessions run 3:45 - 5:00
Morning sessions runs 7:30 - 8:30.
Gladwyne Elementary School Gymnasium
6-weeks of basketball instruction for $150
Basketballs are provided for each session
Choose which day and time of the week works best for you

Coach's Corner:
John Gallman
John has been coaching basketball in the Lower Merion School District for the past eight years. He began as the freshman basketball coach at Lower Merion High School. For the past seven years John has been an assistant coach of the varsity basketball team at Lower Merion High School. In addition, John has been responsible for player development for the players in the Lower Merion High School basketball program, to help them optimize their basketball potential.
Coach's Corner:
Drew Heinerichs
Drew is a licensed youth USA basketball coach and has been coaching basketball in the King of Prussia area for the past 10 years at the elementary level. He is part of the East Coast Power AAU basketball program that is based in King of Prussia. He is the assistant coordinator of basketball operations for grades 3 thru 8 at East Coast Power. Over the last eight years he has coached AAU teams from 3rd grade thru 8th grade. Currently Coach Heinerichs has taken on the role of assistant coach of the boys varsity basketball team at Cardinal O'Hara high school, which plays in the prestigious Philadelphia Catholic League. His coaching philosophy stems from teaching a player that learning the basic fundamentals of basketball and constant practice on those fundamentals will make them a more successful basketball player. He founded The Skills Academy because he has a passion for teaching children the fundamentals of basketball at an early age.
