Please make sure you have signed up for your school's band or orchestra program before renting an instrument.
LMSD works with Zeswitz Music to provide rental instruments to 4th grade students. After signing up for your school's program, please click the button below to rent an instrument from Zeswitz Music. Instruments will be delivered directly to schools, and your child will receive their instrument and materials at their first lesson of the year, in the week of September 28th.
LMSD & Zeswitz Music will provide a scholarship instrument to any student who may have a financial hardship.
Please email your teacher directly to receive the form for a scholarship instrument.
If you are interested in purchasing an instrument for your child, please contact your school's instrumental music teacher first. String instruments are sized to fit your child, and they will need larger instruments as they grow.
Many inexpensive instruments are made of low quality materials, break easily, and are difficult to repair.
