Lower Merion HS Course Selection

Welcome LMHS Parents & Students!

The purpose of this site is to provide you with information on the registration process and an overview of the courses offered by each of our departments for the 2025-2026 school year. 

Registration opens February 3, 2025 at 8 am 

Please use the links, at the top of this page, to access presentations, course registration instructions, course information by department, and counselor information.  If you have any questions about this process, please contact your child's grade level administrator or school counselor.

Timeline

• January 14 - 16:  Middle School students visit the High Schools.

• January 16:  Transition Meeting for all 8th grade parents. 

• January 21 - 28:  High School Teachers enter Course Recommendation information.

• January 28:  Course Selection Night for parents of incoming 9th-12th grade students.

• January 31: School choice deadline.

• February 3-10: Online course selection open for all students.

• February 10 - 18: High School counselors meet with 8th grade middle school students to discuss course selection.

• February 10 - February 28: High School counselors meet with individual students currently in grades 9-11.

• May 22:  "Move Up Day" - 8th grade students visit the high school they will attend in September.  

• June 17: Deadline to change course/level for 2025-2026 school year.

• Late July: Roster of scheduled classes are released online.

• Late August: Schedule of classes with sets and teachers released online.
