Part of the responsibility of being in the Harriton Jazz Ensemble is a dedication to listening to jazz music.  While it does not need to be the genre you listen to the most, great musicians listen to music in the styles they perform.  Therefore, there is a weekly requirement to listen to one album of great jazz music.  Every week I compile the music that the band listens to and will distribute that information to the band so that they can branch out and listen to more artists, albums, and generate new ideas.
