Summer training is essential to a successful season. To be ready for the season, make sure to follow the documents in the training folder linked above. All of your weekly miles SHOULD be tracked in a running App or a notebook and be available for review upon request from your coach.
Please buy a watch for training. The watch should have a timer feature at a minimum, but training can be optimized with a watch that has GPS/heart-rate monitor. Here is a link to a recent review of running watches by Runner's World: 9 Best Running Watches 2026
Here is a local 5K series that would be great to add to your training. Bring some teammates, friends, or family and have fun! Midsummer Night 5K Series
The official Fall season will begin August 17th. PIAA physicals and registration SHOULD be handed in by August 1st in order to be processed in time for the start of the season. Please get them done ASAP. Harriton High School offers PIAA Sports Physicals in late May. See registration details below:
