The Welsh Valley Class of 2023 participated in this year's production of Beauty and the Beast Jr. as performers, crew members, and set designers. Their leadership, dedication, and many talents have brought so much to Valley TLC and we are so excited to showcase them in their final Valley TLC production.

Sadie Bohrer

Belle

Sadie is a seasoned performer who we are so grateful to have as our Belle. She has participated in countless theater camps over the years, performed in an online performance showcase and was most recently featured as Addaperle in Valley TLC's production of The Wiz (Spring 2021).
Sadie serves as a role model for us all - modeling not only immense talent, but kindness as well. We will miss her as she moves on to high school, however we know she will do great things. Sadie, we hope that you will come back to visit us at the Valley and wish you the very best!

Gabriel Newsome

The Beast

Gabriel is an experienced actor whose many roles are best captured in list form:

Ro Hachadoorian

Lumiere

Ro will be making their final Valley TLC appearance as the charming Lumiere. They previously performed as the Tinman in The Wiz (Spring 2022).
Ro is a talented and dedicated young person. Their positive energy and welcoming nature will take them far and we cannot wait to hear all about what they will achieve. Ro, you will be missed, but we know that you are going to accomplish incredible things both on and off-stage. Best of luck as you move on to high school - come back and visit!

Sydney Newmuis

Mrs. Potts

Sydney will be making her Welsh Valley debut as Mrs. Potts, however this is not her first show. She previously performed as Charlie Brown in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Sydney possesses a talent and attention to detail that is rare at the middle school level. Her expressiveness and musicality make her a joy to watch on-stage and we will miss her. We wish her all the best as she moves onto high school and know that she will do great things.

Emil Brody

Madame de la Grande Bouche

Emil will be making her first (and last, unfortunately) Valley TLC appearance as Madame de la Grande Bouche, the larger-than-life singing wardrobe. She is a seasoned performer who previously performed as Evie in Descendants: the Musical, and as a cast member in School House Rock and other productions.
Emil is a talented singer and actor who has tackled some of the hardest vocal parts in the show with grace and confidence. She will be missed, however we look forward to seeing all she accomplishes in high school and beyond!

Claire Solga

Silly Girl

Claire will be returning to the Valley TLC stage as a Silly Girl. She previously appeared a Head Emerald City Citizen in The Wiz (Spring 2022).
Claire is a gifted and kind individual who has flourished in this year's show. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her and wish her nothing but the best in all that she does.

Brooke Greenfield

Silly Girl

Brooke will make her final Valley TLC appearance as a Silly Girl. She previously performed as a dancer in The Wiz (Spring 2022).
Brooke is a talented and detail oriented perfomer. It has been a pleasure watching her grow as not only an artist, but as a person as well. We are grateful for her leadership and will miss her dearly. Best of luck in high school and beyond!

Madi Knight

Silly Girl

Madi will make their theatrical debut as a Silly Girl. Though this is their first year on-stage as an actor, they are an experienced musician. Outside of Valley TLC, Madi can be found playing the bass in the Welsh Valley string orchestra and jazz band.
Madi is an incredible musician who we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with. Their versatile skill set will serve them well as they continue in the arts. We wish Madi all the best and hope they come back to visit!

Daniel Green

Narrator 4

Danny will return to the stage one last time as the Narrator in Beauty and the Beast. He previously performed as a member of the student ensemble in A Day in the Life (Fall 2022).
It is clear that Danny enjoys performing and we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to help him find his voice. We wish him all the best as he continues on to high school!

Elizabeth Berberian

The Enchantress

Elizabeth is a multi-talented individual who will be making her Valley TLC debut as the Enchantress. Though this will be her acting debut, Elizabeth is an experienced performer who plays clarinet in the Welsh Valley Band.
Elizabeth contributed to the show as both a performer and stage designer. She assisted in the set building for Beauty and the Beast, helping to put together the large platforms and towers that you see. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her and hope that she continues performing on-stage in the future. Best of luck in all that you do!

Noah Morris

Monsieur D'Arque

Noah will return to the Welsh Valley stage one last time as Monsieur D'Arque. He previously performed as:

We are so proud of all that Noah has accomplished. It has been a pleasure watching him grow as both a performer and person. He has served as not only an actor, but a role model and student leader in this production. We could not have asked for a better individual to help the directors transition into their roles and wish him nothing but the best in all that he does.

Tim McDermott

Synthesizer

Tim will make his Valley TLC debut as the synthesizer player in the pit orchestra. Though this will be his first time playing for a theatrical production, Tim is an experienced pianist.
We are so grateful that Tim agreed to join us for the production. His synthesizer playing adds another dimension to the show and we are so fortunate to have his talents with us. We wish him the very best as he goes on to high school and hope he continues performing!

Tancey Li

Violin

Tancey will make her Valley TLC debut playing violin in the pit orchestra. She has been playing violin for many years and is an active performer both at Welsh Valley an in the greater community.
We are so grateful that Tancey has decided to join us for the show. She is an joy to be around and work with - we cannot wait to hear all about what she accomplishes in high school!

Ethan Hsu

Cello

Ethan will play his first Valley TLC show on cello. He is an experienced musician, who also performs as a pianist. In addition to his performance skills, Ethan is a burgeoning composer.
We are so thankful that Ethan has chosen to play for our show. He is an endlessly talented individual, with a level of attention to detail that is rare at the middle school level. We wish him nothing but the best as he contiunes on to high school and hope that he comes back to visit!

Tao Romalis

Stage Manager + Lightboard Operator

Tao will work his last Valley TLC show as the lightboard operator. He previously worked as a member of the stage crew in The Wiz (Spring 2022) and A Day in the Life (Fall 2022). As stage manager, he has attended rehearsals throguhout the process and has an intricate knowledge of the show. Tao designed and programmed many of the lighting sequences you will see on stage - no easy feat for a professional lighting expert.
It has been a pleasure working with Tao this year. His creative eye and dedication to the show are unmatched - we will miss him. We wish him all the best in high school and hope to see him working on future productions!

Eli Rose

Stage Designer

Eli previously participated in Valley TLC as a stage designer for A Day in the Life (Fall 2022). He helped put together some of the larger props you see on-stage, and was an integral part of our weekend clean-up and build days.
We are so proud of all Eli has accomplished with Valley TLC and will miss him dearly. We wish him nothing but the best as he moves onto high school and beyond!

Kaylee Gould

Stage Designer

Kaylee will make her Valley TLC debut as a member of the design crew. She worked closely with Ms. Petrino and Ms. Wallitsch to help put together the many sets and props seen on-stage. She was also an integral part of our 8th grade clean-out day.
It has been a pleasure getting to see Kaylee's creative visions come to life on stage. We wish her the very best as she continues on to high school and hope she comes back to visit!
