中國古代經典
Chinese classics
「中國古代經典」課程根據不同年齡學生的語文能力,分階段地以有系統的方式引導學生學習一系列中國古代文學、史學、哲學的經典作品。課程分為啟蒙、初級、中級、高級四級, 從五至八年級,每年修讀一級。每個等級的課程都包含詩歌、散文等文體,每個單元會學習某種文體中的經典選篇,並會側重研讀一、兩位重點作家的作品。課程的教材由弘立老師根據不同年齡層學生的語文及理解水平而編製。
四年的課程由若干獨立的教學單元組成,同時它們又是一個循序漸進的整體,連續修完所有等級將會達到最好的學習效果。修完課程後,學生應能夠熟讀、背誦大量經典名篇,具備良好的文言文閱讀能力,陶冶情操,對中國文化精髓有深入理解和欣賞。
中國古代經典(啟蒙——五年級)
課程包含三個單元;透過閱讀一套指定的文言作品,學生能熟習中國古代經典的語文和文學,這些作品包括中國古代的神話《山海經》、《論語》及《詩經》。學習過程是以深度閱讀原文及基本的文言文訓練來進行的。
Chinese Classics (Beginners—G5)
The course is divided into three units. Through reading some selected works, students have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the literary Chinese language and works, such as Chinese mythologies The Classic of Mountains and Seas (《山海經》), Confucian Analects (《論語》) and The Book of Songs (《詩經》). The course consists of in-depth reading of original texts and basic instruction on classical Chinese.
中國古代經典(初級——六年級)
初級課程分為三個單元,引導學生研讀道家經典(《道德經》、《莊子》)、漢樂府民歌以及軼聞故事(《搜神記》、《世說新語》)。課程以深度閱讀原文和文言文訓練為核心,幫助學生熟悉古代經典的語言和文學,理解中國傳統思想文化,並能背誦部分作品。 學習過程中,學生將積累文言文閱讀能力和相關文化知識,深入理解古代經典的內涵,並提升基於所學知識進行創意發揮的能力。課程評分將基於知識(A)、理解(B)和創作(C)三個方面。
Chinese Classics (Elementary—G6)
The elementary "Chinese Classics" course is divided into three units, guiding students through the study of Daoist classics (Tao Te Ching and Zhuangzi ), Han Dynasty yuefu folk songs, and anecdotal tales (Soushenji and Shishuo Xinyu). The course emphasizes close reading of original texts and training in classical Chinese, helping students familiarize themselves with the language and literature of ancient classics, understand traditional Chinese thought and culture, and memorize selected excerpts. Throughout the course, students will develop their classical Chinese reading comprehension, accumulate relevant cultural knowledge, deepen their understanding of the nuances within the classic texts, and enhance their ability to creatively apply their acquired knowledge. Assessment will be based on three aspects: Knowledge (A), Understanding (B), and Creativity (C).

中級課程分為三個單元,引導學生研讀曹操、陶淵明、李白等人的詩歌以及《聊齋誌異》等文言短篇小說。課程以深度閱讀原文和文言文訓練為核心,幫助學生熟悉古代經典的語言和文學,學習如何鑑賞中國經典詩歌和小說,並能背誦部分作品。學習過程中,學生將積累文言文閱讀能力和相關文化知識,深入理解古代經典的內涵,並提升基於所學知識進行創意發揮的能力。課程評分將基於知識(A)、理解(B)和創作(C)三個方面。
Chinese Classics (Intermediate—G7)
The intermediate "Chinese Classics" course is divided into three units, guiding students through the study of poetry by Cao Cao, Tao Yuanming, and Li Bai, as well as classical short stories such as Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio (Liaozhai Zhiyi). The course emphasizes close reading of original texts and training in classical Chinese, helping students familiarize themselves with the language and literature of ancient classics, learn how to appreciate classical Chinese poetry and fiction, and memorize selected excerpts. Throughout the course, students will develop their classical Chinese reading comprehension, accumulate relevant cultural knowledge, deepen their understanding of the nuances within the classic texts, and enhance their ability to creatively apply their acquired knowledge. Assessment will be based on three aspects: Knowledge (A), Understanding (B), and Creativity (C).
中國古代經典(高級——八年級)
高級課程分為三個單元,引導學生研讀杜甫詩歌、陶淵明和張岱等人的著名散文以及《史記》。課程以深度閱讀原文和文言文訓練為核心,幫助學生熟悉古代經典的語言和文學,學習如何鑑賞中國古代詩歌和散文,並能背誦部分作品。 學習過程中,學生將提升文言文閱讀能力,加深對中國古代文學的理解和鑒賞能力,並提升基於所學知識進行創意發揮的能力。課程評分將基於知識(A)、理解(B)和創作(C)三個方面。
Chinese Classics (Advanced—G8)
The advanced "Chinese Classics" course is divided into three units, guiding students through the study of Du Fu's poetry, renowned prose by authors such as Tao Yuanming and Zhang Dai, and Records of the Grand Historian ( Shiji ). The course emphasizes close reading of original texts and training in classical Chinese, helping students familiarize themselves with the language and literature of ancient classics, learn how to appreciate classical Chinese poetry and prose, and memorize selected excerpts. Throughout the course, students will develop their classical Chinese reading comprehension, deepen their understanding and appreciation of ancient Chinese literature, and enhance their ability to creatively apply their acquired knowledge. Assessment will be based on three aspects: Knowledge (A), Understanding (B), and Creativity (C).
