My Life
First, I drew the basic outline of my face by looking at my face on my phone. Then, I drew the ribbons on the back using a pencil. After that, I traced the ribbon and the things inside the ribbon to make it pop out more. I decided to not color the face to make it have a more dramatic effect. On the ribbons I decided to draw some of my experiences in life because I felt like that is more important than things I like. I used markers to color everything in the ribbons. For the background I used watercolor because this is a mix media project and I have not used watercolor in a long time. I colored the background with a super light colored purple. Then added some darker purple on top of that. I tried to write something in the background, but that miserably, so I decided to make a bunch of messy lines because it represents how messy I am, on the inside and outside. I sued the colors red and blue for the lines because it would match with the light purple background.
I honestly do not really like it because it was super different from how I predicted it to be. All the colors were so much brighter, the face, I’m not even going to talk about it and the background too. Next time, I would use color pencils instead of markers and draw different things in the ribbons.
