Bright

I made this artwork with watercolor, acrylic paint, alcohol marker, color pencil, and pen. I made the portrait of me purple and blue because those are my favorite colors and majority of my flowers were purple and blue so I thought they could kind of connect. I also really love flowers so I tried to make some of my hair out of flowers. Flowers are really pretty to look at and I thought they could be an easy way to include a lot of color. I tried to add the red and green squiggles with gold paint on top of it in the background to put the spotlight on the self portrait in the middle and because my favorite holiday is Christmas and those are Christmas colors. I also tried to draw the crown Tzuyu wore in the feel special music video but I don’t think it turned out that good. I feel ok about my artwork. The blue and purple didn’t look how I wanted it to look and when I tried to add lines on the purple side to make it look darker in some areas but I don’t think it looks nice. I do really like how the flowers came out though. Next time I would change the purple and blue to a lighter color or at least make the point where they meet in the middle and blended. I think I would also add more background and make the crown look better.
