Living The Picture

My idea about this drawing was about a family being all happy but this family picture is broken. The frame is showing how the family is all broken and gone. I made this kind of picture because I thought it was important to show the loss that the pandemic has caused. I made these choices because I have been in many discussions and talked with a lot of people and they have said that they have lost their mental and social health. I think it was important to incorporate it in my drawing to show that a lot of people were affected by the pandemic. I think my artwork is a bit plain because I didn’t know how to incorporate small details on my drawings and this picture from the picture frame that I was using for reference was a bit difficult to draw.

I feel not as successful as the other arts I have done because this artwork looked a bit rushed and it feels incomplete. And I guess I want the person looking at the picture to think that the family is incomplete. If I were to do this project again I think what I would have done differently I make a different type of theme and make a picture of a gain from the pandemic. I hope that after this pandemic is normalized I think I would be fixing on a lot of things and make sure that I am
