Hope I'm Darkness

This drawing expresses hope because the bird is a dove and it’s coming through the darkness. I chose this because a lot of people we’re getting sick and a lot of new things were happening but through all of that, I had hope. And I drew that. I chose to draw a dove as hope because I think it symbolizes love and hope and I had both. I decided to draw the background black to represent all the things that were happening in the pandemic. Some bad and some just new and I chose yellow and light blue in the middle to show that I was fighting through it and getting through it even though it was hard.

I like my artwork because I tried hard and I like the message it has. I might do something in the middle differently and/or doing something to the background. I hope I get better at art in high school and I hope high school won’t be too bad.
