Include Us

“Nothing about us without us” means that you cannot make a decision about a group without a final decision from another member from the group. My drawing shows a person in a wheelchair shaking hands with a business person. Then the “Nothing about us without us” term is printed around them. It means that we should include disabled people in things concerning them. My drawing shows an agreement between a disabled and an abled person. I feel like I got the message through, although I feel like I could’ve done more like add more people to the background or color it. The background looks too plain. Next time, add a bit more detail and color. I thought making the figures silhouettes would make my drawing look nice but I definitely think I should’ve put more detail to it.
