Nothing About Us Without Us

My drawing is about the unfair treatment of people with disabilities, and it shows the meaning of the quote, “nothing about us without us.” This quote means that if there is something that impacts everyone, including people with disabilities, those people should be represented more.

In my drawing I showed an eye of a person who is disabled. It is sort of a general image of having a disability, because the sign in the background represents disabilities. I feel good about my work, because I like the message and the color scheme, but I would like to add more detail next time, because i think this looks a bit rushed.
