Nothing About Us Without Us

“Nothing about us without us” means more than just a message, it means all the assumptions and looks people have made towards people who are disabled. It means even if we may seem different, we're really not. My drawing is about how even if you see someone who may be physical or mental or both disabled you shouldn’t make quick conclusions of what they can and can’t do. Just seeing someone in a wheelchair doesn’t always mean they will never be able to walk ever again. I feel like even if you may not know the message just by looking at it, I feel proud that I can at least express an emotion or a thought to people about this. Next time I may want to color more even if I may not want to.
