Hello Flower Friends

I was inspired by Hello Kitty and KAWS. I put flowers in the eyes like how KAWS put the "X"s on the eyes. I wanted to do Hello Kitty because I liked the simplistic design with simplistic colors. This assignment was about making your own original character or drawing an unoriginal character/cartoon with your own different design.

I feel pretty proud about my work, honestly at first I was not that confident in my first idea so I tried a different idea and I am glad that it came out better than I anticipated. I would probably color the background but I like the black and white feel in the background because I already have a lot of colors occurring in my artwork.
