Why Be Racist

This assignment is about creating activism poster with a social message. My message is to not be racist whether you are Asian, White or Black. I picked this message because it ties to many crimes and hate we as a community are facing today.

I did not want many colors in the artwork, so I chose three colors which are white, dark blue and green, they match well together. I decided to draw people to show that we might look different, but that is not an excuse to be racist. The stars represent that we are living under the same sky. I think I did pretty good, but not as well as I expected it to be because the color of the hair and face were the same which made it look a little weird. Next time, I would try doing a different message.
