Avocado

This assignment was about drawing your favorite fruit or vegetable as a pop-art drawing. The reason why I chose avocado as my fruit/vegetable is that I love them so much and they are one of my favorite things to eat. The reason why I chose to do yellow and orange is that I wanted the colors to stand out and wanted there to be dark colors green/brown/blue and light colors yellow/orange. I also decided to surround my avocado in an explosion-looking pop art style to make it more pop out. I feel like it could be better because there were some spaces where the color didn’t look the same but overall I think that this is a good art work. Next time something I would do differently is to make sure that I have an equal amount of lines to put different colors because this time I had an extra space and that was not good.
