The Shining Orange

This assignment was to draw a fruit that has a story behind it and the background needs to be pop art. I chose to draw an orange because for an orange to be orange. It needs slices to make up the orange. It's like me! There's things about me that make me! Each slice is a characteristic of mine which makes a whole aka me.

I chose to make the background grey and yellow because I wanted it to look like the orange was shining. And the grey was a recommendation someone gave me. I was originally going to make it yellow, red, and blue. But that changed my mind. Also another reason my background is grey was for the orange to pop out more. I think I could’ve done better because this was actually my second try and i think I could have done a better job if I took more time on it. I will try my best to add more definition and details to my artwork next time
