As an artist, I work hard to develop creative masterpieces. This pop art assignment was about "ironic traditional fine art values." This was about making this creative image stand out and pop. I chose a banana because bananas are bright and bright things make me think positive. Also I like bananas because I eat bananas with Nutella sometimes and it tastes great. I chose this background because the colors pink, yellow and blue are colors that stand out together. These colors make it so that if you use a lot of one color, one will always stand out because of the different shades. I chose this background because my banana was curved to the left a little bit. This made me think to myself hmm… I got creative then I thought!! Polka Dots!! These were the best patterns for this object because I would give a little illusion as if the dots were going past the banana. I feel great about my drawing because as soon as I picked up my pencil, it connected with my brain. I like how my work is bright and how the color contrast came out. Next time I would draw the dots first instead of adding it last so it will be more uniformed.
