The Tie Dye Peppa

My inspiration came from Kaws' art, his art work is really special. The different kinds of characters in his art are so cool. That’s why I decided to make one too! And so the character art he made was my inspiration. My artwork is a mix of Kaws' artwork and the character Peppa pig. Peppa pig is one of the characters that I really like so I was thinking of maybe “mixing” them together and seeing how it turned out. I was pretty surprised about how it turned out. The colors I chose were the colors Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and black for the outlining and the background. At first I didn’t know what colors I should choose to color the character, but I was thinking of using the water color to paint it so then I have an idea of making it like a tie dye color. I didn’t want the background to also be colorful because then my character wouldn’t show as much and so I decided to just color it black. Overall I feel kind of proud of my artwork, I feel like this turned out pretty good and I really like it! Something that I would do differently next time is to maybe change the color of my character and see how it would turn out.
