Below are the teams we have chosen for this year. Making these choices is very difficult for coaches, as we know our decisions will make many athletes and parents sad. We had a devotion on Monday that focused on two things: 1. Your worth is already secure by a God who loves you so much, He gave His life for you. A coach’s decision or an athlete’s performance does not change that. And 2. Proverbs 3:5-6 remind us to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” This decision might be hard to understand, but to remember that God is still working in your life, and we can trust Him with what is to come.
We thank you for the effort and energy during tryouts. If any player (or parents) have questions about their performance during tryouts, I am happy to schedule a meeting to discuss this. Please email to set this up. Our program does have a few policies we follow for our meetings: 1. A player can talk to me, or a meeting can be set up to talk with a parent and a player, but I do not have meetings with only parents - the player must be present. 2. I do not discuss things via email or phone- all meetings are done in person. You can schedule this meeting with me via email. 3. I will only discuss you (your daughter) and will not discuss any other players’ performance.
