Athletic Director Ozzie McFarland

I am overjoyed to be a part of the Lake Lure Classical Academy family and to serve as Athletic Director.

I come to Lake Lure with over 30 years of experience in a college setting. I have served as Ahletic Director Gardner-Webb and Chowan Universities and I have taught college classes at both.

In addition, I was the head coach of baseball, volleyball, and cross-country on the college level and have coached numerous youth sports teams.

My educational background includes a BS and MS in Health and Physical Education from Gardner-Webb University and I have completed all the course work for my EdD in Educational leadership from East Carolina University.

I have three grown sons and three adorable grandchildren.
