• Bachelor of Arts in Middle Graded Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte

• Masters of Library Science from East Carolina University

I am so excited to be your Librarian this school year! I have been a Middle School Mathematics teacher for past eight years. Early into my teaching career, I followed my passion to become a School Media Coordinator. I had the opportunity to be a K-5 Media Coordinator at Chesterfield Elementary in Morganton, NC. I also have a passion for exercise and am a certified yoga teacher.

I want to thank Mrs. Youngblood and the volunteers for doing such a wonderful job at putting together the library here at LLCA. I am excited to see all the great things we will be doing in the library this year!
