I came to Northlake in 1998. Since then, I have taught science, math, and physical education with my primary role as a science teacher. This is my first year in the Career and Technical Education path. I was brought to this position to combine strong academics with applicable career skills. I have a double-major in Biology and Chemistry along with a master's degree in Educational Technology. As a hobby woodworker, I feel right at home in the shop as well.
My wife is a teacher at Sunnycrest Elementary school in our district and our two children are Vikings. My daughter was a 2021 graduate of Lake Stevens High School and is now attending Northeastern University in Boston. My son is a member of the LSHS class of 2025, and a member of the Boy's Swim & Dive Team.
