The Story of Li-jen

Taichung Municipal Li-jen Junior High School was founded in 1992. With plenty of effort, it developed diverse learning techniques which allowed for more creativity when teaching. Li-jen has numerous clubs, such as a rowing team, a basketball team and a Chinese orchestra to help develop students’ interests and skills. Thus, Li-jen has had excellent performance and gained nationwide glory repeatedly.

Our principal, Su Fu-Nan, has committed to building consensus in the campus and leading the staff to advance in teaching while promoting international education. The goal aims to guide Li-jen to have world views, and to shine a global spotlight on the school. Hence, Li-jen makes efforts to develop the hearts and minds of its students and provide them with a cosmopolitan outlook. The principal has also dedicated time to interact with communities around the campus and put Li-jen on the map. It’s the school’s belif that educational investment can turn people’s lives around. Indeed, the principal will lead the team and continue to strengthen Li-jen’s legacy.

Li-jen is a middle-sized school, with 23 classes in total. The energentic teachers are enthusiastic when teaching students to be positive, interactive, resposible,and open-minded global citizens. It is the school’s vision to cultivate students to establish themselves and help others succeed, to achieve their own goals and help others achieve theirs.
