Rules:
No Inappropriate Themes: Avoid media containing extreme romance themes, explicit themes, violence/gore, excessive profanity, or references to substances. If so, you may blur or cut out the content that is shown or add a warning. Implementing these topics into your work is only acceptable if it is stylized and/or kept within school appropriate guidlines.
Zero Tolerance for Cyberbullying or Bullying: Do not upload edits intended to mock, humiliate, or target any student or staff member. Nor will there be bullying in person. If so, there may be consequences for your actions. Students may have editing styles you dislike, and that's okay! But that is not a reason to bully them.
Privacy & Security: Get permission from classmates or the teacher before uploading or creating media featuring someone else. If a student asks you not to distribute/share their work to others, respect their boundary and do not share it.
Copying or Plagiarism: If you copy or upload someone else's work, you must at the very least give the original creator credit. Uploading someone else's work without their credit and knowledge is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Any art that you did not create will NEVER be uploaded onto the "Works of art we LOVE" page or uploaded outside of Google Classroom. If someone has an idea and you copy it, credit to the original creator is warranted.
Collaborating and Giving Advice: Collaborating and giving advice is absolutely acceptable, and it is appreciated! Ask permission to collab on anything big! Giving advice is awesome, but make sure to keep it constructive and not overly critical or judgemental.
Artificial Intelligence: While it may be fun to experiment with Gen AI, this club is designed to support human creators, not artificial ones. Works found to be created by artificial intelligence will not be endorsed by the club, neither in the "Works of art we LOVE" page, nor on our social media.
